Drillers, Lynnwood battle it out

DRILLERS and Lynnwood
maintained their undefeated
records, setting the stage for
a battle for first place.
Drillers defeated Old Buz-
zards 4-1 in a tightly con-
tested match. Larry Brown
and Larry Barker gave
Drillers a 2-0 first period
lead, which held up until ear-
ly in the third period when
Ron McMillan picked up a
pass from Roger Nickel and
bounced the puck over a
sprawling Keith Gibson. The
Drillers regained a two-goal
margin halfway through the
period as Ed Holt made a
perfect pass from behind the
net to Ed Collins, who tipped

Firefighters displayed a
powerful offense in crushing
Warriors 11-1. Many of their
goals came on 2-on-1 breaks
against the porovs Warrior
defense. Steve Sentes and
Fred Baines each notched the
hat-trick, while Rick
Goluboff had a goal and four
assists. Murray Chatwin also
scored twice and added the
only Warrior goal midway
through the game on a pass
from behind the net from
Bnan Dorey.

from beginner to ski fanatic.
The program is 45 minutes
long on 6 consecutive Mon-
day evenings.

Stephanie is presently
teaching the very popular
Whistler Women's Ski
Clinic. She has compeutive,
coaching and teaching exper-
use related both to skiing and
fitness. This is a one time
chance to workout under the
Instruction of a World
Champion.
