Murdered near
island terminal

A WOMAN found murdered near the Swartz Bay
ferry terminal on Vancouver Island July 1 was
identified this week as 31-year-old Sherry Anne
Wallace of North Vancouver.

Wallace was identified
after a frend contacted
North Vancouver RCMP
Sunday.

The woman's fully-clothed
body was found July | ina
bushed area off a footpath
leading to the beach at
Patnnaa Bay. lecated about
eight kilometres south of the
ferry terminal. A blue can-
vas overnight bag was found
nearby, but the dead woman
was carrying no identifica
tion.
