Everlasting light
is all there is!

HOW MANY feel we have been enlightened, that a great
burst of light struck us, as it supposedly did Paul when he
was on his way to Damascus, and that we were then con-
verted, and also changed our name (our nature) to that

which was or is more fitting?

Don’t all holy pictures show a
light behind the head, or world?

How many of us have had to
pay, far beyond what we feel we
should, for the light that comes by
pressing a switch on the wall?
There are all sorts of light — elec-
trical, spiritual and solar — but
are these the light of which we
write? No.

Light is soul, spirit, mind. Light
is the only substance that existence
is, and it cannot be blown up by
an atom bomb, nor wiped out by
tidal waves, earthquakes, religious
philosophy or prophecy, the
argument that the earth is tilting
on its axis, or any other form of
declaration, no matier how
earnest, sincere, how erudite the
spokesperson may be.

Light is everlasting because it is
all there is of now, isness, amness,
self, reality, genuine actuality, in-
telligence, being, aliveness. Light
is that ta which the mere word,
God, refers, and this has nothing
to do with light that is visible, or
with ‘‘inspiration,’’ or ‘‘hun-
ches.”’

Lighe is not that which hits the
clairvoyant, the ‘‘seer,’’ the pro-
phet, the one who sees visions and
dreams dreams, or is touched by
an invisible hand so that he/she
may foretell anything.

It is not that which comes to
the holy, or the unholy. Light is
the being that is singleness,
wholeness, aliveness, love, pure
entirety wherein no faintest
otherness can be, so ... does not
need to be dealt with.
