FT was an elegant afternoon of tea, champagne, harp music,
silent auction excitement and fashions ata recent fundraiser ia
the gorgeous dining room of Lola's at Century House in
Vancouver. The fundraiser, to benefit the Vancouver Museum,
included an impressive fashion show by the co-sponsor of the
event, designer Carol Clattey. The Ons Were impressive as
were the delicious and beautifully presented — biscuits, sand-
wiches, and sw Lola’s co-owners Kimt Osborne and Tom
Griffin say the sceret to their delicious fare and special-blend
teas is rooted in the fresh herbs, flowers, and ables, which
are selected from the restaurant's 10,000 square-foot garden in
the British properties. Everyone enjoyed this quaint affair.
