Ac the end of the subse- quent search of Harrison's car, police seized 421 grams of marijuana, a “large quanti- ty” of cash and a small scate. Harrison, 38, of Mission, pleaded guilly on April 24 Ww possessing the marijuana for trafficking purposes. North Vancouver provin- cial court Judge Jerome Paradis fined Harrison $2,000 for the trafficking offence. Police estimated — the almost pound of marijuana in the car would fetch between $3,000 and $4,000. The Mountie who stopped Harrison in a residential area noticed a “strong smell” of marijuana coming from with- in the car.
