THE NORTHSHORE Flyers. a North Voncouver-
based dog sports club, is hosting its first annuat
Christinas Open Flyball Tournament on Sunday,
Dec. 4, 1994 at the Matsqui Agri-Fair Arena (32470
Haida Drive, Matsqui, B.C.), beginning at 9 a.m.

The tournament is sanctioned by the North
American Flyball Association (NAFA) and is open
to both purebred and mixed-breed dogs in novic
open and championship classes.

Many Vancouverites who ski, learnes
to at the Grouse Mountain Ski School.

In Flyball, dogs are required to negotiate a series
of hurdles in order to gain access to a “pedal- -released
tennis ball, Spectators are welcome at no charge.

The close for entries to the Christmas
Tournament is Sunday, Nov. 20, 1994 and entry fees
are $60 per team, Enquiries and/or entries should be
