“Smoking kills 2.5 billion people every year,” that another major com-
pany has banned smoking on its premises or that the American Lung
Association hopes to have a “Smoke Free” continent by the year 2,000.
Why is it then, that in spite of this constant barrage of adverse publicity
and medical statistics, there are still people who smoke? The answer,
of course, is that giving up any habit especially one as addictive as smok-
ing is not always easy.
