Murray Feist led the attack with two goals and two assists, and linemate John Payne notched two goals and one assist. Don Ehl also scored twice for the Canadians, who moved two points ahead of the Drillers and Old Buzzards. Gary Hallsy, Canadians net- minder, earned a rare assist by passing the puck up to Feist on his second goal. Although the Canadians stopped the Crows, they didn’t stop Ron Brown, who put in all three goals for the losers for his third straight hat-trick performance. He now has 23 goals and 32 points, 10 more than runner- up Larry Barker of the Drillers. Two of Brown’s goals were in the final two minutes of the game when the Canadians were obviously very tired.
