Nine of the 38 paintings he has done to date were bought for pnvate display and three were successful commissions, one of which has been re- produced as a limited edition print. The show contains a cross section of his work, in- cluding the second picture he painted, that of a Porsche racing car in action. This picture was an indication to him that he could indeed paint and from then on he continued to paint = and further developed his skills. He received a_ First Honourable Mention award in a professional juring for the picture Loan Show and has since become a member of the ‘Federatron of Canadian Artists. The show, which wilt hang in the foyer and balcony galleries of the North Vancouver City Hall at 141 West 14th Avenue will continue until March 8th. Daily hours 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p-m.
