didates were easily beaten at
the annual meeting by the
five proposed by the North
and West Vancouver
Hospital Society’s Nomina-
tion Committee, who support
therapeutic abortions.

And a motion by
‘*ProLife’’ supporter Pat
Webb to try to force the
Board of Directors to abide
by motions passed by the
Society at annual meetings
was ruled out of order.

At last year’s annual
meeting Webb managed to
get two controversial

ed but this year his motion
was quashed by the Society
President, Peter White, who,
