Pedophile arrested
im North Vancouver

A PEDOPHILE who said he would leave North Vancouver
in August after a neighborhood uproar was sparked over
his presence was arrested Monday living near the same
area of Upper Highlands.

Robert Roy Owens, 45, was arrested by the North Vancouver RCMP
in connection with a warrant initiated by the Sooke RCMP.

At the dime of his arrest, Owens was staying at a house at 988

Prospect Ave., two blocks from Montroyal elementary.
The house is withia (0 blocks of 4456 Canterbury Cres. where
Owens lived in August with another convicted sex offender, Daniel
