Playhouse Theatre’s artistic direc-
tor, Larry Lillo.

Larry, who is now in his 5th
season at the Playhouse company,
was the founder of the
Tamanhous Theatre in 1971.

In recognition of his commit-
ment to the improvement of
theatre in Canada, Larry was one
of 57 British Columbians to be
presented with the Canada 125
medal by Justice Minister Kim
Campbell at a ceremony and tea
on Granville Island at the new
