Station robbed

THE WEST Vancouver Police are searching for three
people who robbed the Surfside Service gas station, 2196
Marine Dr., of an undisclosed amount of money on Feb.
13. ,

According to a police report, two Oriental males
entered the gas station_at about 9:20 p.m. One of the
suspects simulated a gun and demanded money.

After punching the fone attendant, the two suspects
got into a late model white Honda Civic, where a third
person had been waiting, and fled the scenc.

The first suspect is described as being an Oriental
male, 5°10°°, 170 pounds, with brown eyes and straight
black hair parted in the middle.

We was also wearing a three-quarter-length coat and
baggy black silk pants.

The second suspect is described as being an Oriental
male, 5°10, 140 pouads, with brown eyes and short black
punk-style hair. He was wearing a casual black leather
jacket.

Anyone with any information on the crime is asked to
contact the West Vancouver Police Department at 922-
4141.

Seawalk vandalized

TWO NONTH Shore youths and a Vancouver man were
arrested Feb. 14 after the West Vancouver Police
responded to a complaint of vandalism on the seawalk.

According to a police spokesman, a group of people
was seen to be damsging lights and rockery in the
2400-block of the szawalk at approximately 11:50 p.m.

The suspects fled. Paiice dng Rocky was called in and
located two of the suspects on the seawalk. A third
suspect was feund hiding in a rocky area near the
seawalk. :

Mischief charges are pending against a 16-year-old
West Vancouver male, a 17-year-old North Vancouver
mate and a 19-year-old Vancouver man.

CHARGES ARE pending against a Burnaby man, a
Vanceuver man and 16-year-old Vancouver youth after
the West Vanceuver Police stopped car bearing stolen
licence plates.

According to a police spokesman, the incident occur-
red at 1:14 a.m. on Feb. 13.

The police stopped a car in the 1300-block of Fulton
Avenue. Police searched the vehicle and seized break-in
tools and stolen property.
