Despite the four point perfor- mance by Jennings, the Broncos fost on both nights by a single point, 6-5 and 3-2. In the first game, played Feb. 8, Jennings scored a power-play goal at 30:28 of the second period and then assisted on a second power- play goal three minutes later to pull the Broncos within one goal. Jennings also had an assist on the Bronco’s second goal of the night. The nent night, Jennings scored at 18:58 of the third period to again pull the Broncos within one goal. Jennings ranks fifth on the Bronco’s scoring lst with 27 points and has played in all 34 games. He owns the team's second best plus-minus rate with a plus 13. The Broncos are 17-14-3 overall and 14-12-2 in the Central Col- legiate Hockey Association for fourth place. The Broncos will battle for third place with current third place holder Ferris State in this weekend's home-and-home series. Three poinis separate the two teams. BC. honors Durward NORTH VANCOUVER’S Lori Durward has been nained the top junior woman athlete of 1990 by B.C. Athletics. A member of the NorWesters, Durward is primarily a middle- distance runner. She joins Peter Ogilvie, top junior man, Paul Williams, top senior man and Charmaine Crooks, top senior woman. Durward earned the award by setting records in the 1500- and 800-metre at the B.C. high school championships.
