Vancouver Ringette Association (NWVRA) _ have five teams battling in the ‘*B’’ division and will have four teams at the-winter club’s “‘A’’ division tournament. Over the past weekend the NWVRA’s two Eagles and Hawks Tween teams ended their regular season playing each other. The Eagles won. Kristec Watson opened the Eagles scoring in the first period while goalie Katy Mayrs kept her team in the game with a great ef- fort. Once ahead the Eagles never faltered. Kelly Moore and Erin Bell each notched two goals and Carol Tsuchida added a single. Tiffany Seibel anchored defence in the 6-2 win. Scoring for the Hawks were Ka- ty Snow and Andrea Taylor. The Hawks got back on the winning track later in the day when they defeated Deita 9-2. Andrea Taylor scored a hat trick in the game. Shani Beadle added a the " pair. Jennifer Saunders was a stand out on defence. In the junior division, the Junior ‘A’ Breakers defeated the North Shore Winter Club 3-1 and took over first place in the league behind the superb goaltending of Patricia Zum Hingst and defence of Beth Calkin and Amy Holt. Robin Raymond scored two goals and Sara Clucas added a single. The Junior ‘‘B’’ Jets, mean- while, played Poco and fought to a 2-2 tie. Scoring for the Jets were Nicola Snow and Diane Reitzner.
