Today’s Feature Home
belongs to well known North
Shore publisher, Brent
Naylor. Built about twenty
years ago, this fairly con-
ventional house has been
transformed into a
bachelor’s dream home
using the talents of interior
designer Don Kavanagh who
happens to be Brent's next
door neighbour.

Two years ago the Deep
Cove home was completely
gutted and re-designed. The
original house had four small
bedrooms and now has a
guest bedroom and a master
bedroom which is the size of
an apartment by itself.

It features a sitting room
with fireplace at one end of
the bedroom and a baicony
high above the seca with
views of the Cove and Indian
Arm. Off the master
bedroom is a long washing
area which leads to a huge
jacuzzi.

The main floor has also
been transformed in a
spectacular manner. The
kitchen was moved to
another part of the house

tertaining in mind, off the
living room is a beautiful bar
with a unique brick bar
beque built into the wall next
to the bar so Brent can take
care of his thirsty guests and
mind the stcaks at the same
tame

A large “L” shaped deck is
just off the living room
which also has the fabulous
ocean view.

A covered wooden

double carport to the house
and wooden steps icad from
the house down to the sca
where Brent's cruiser is
moored at a Topper floating
dock.
