Culture caravan rides on

Several years have passed
since Mrs: Wilhemina
Russell left the Firth of
Forth, Scotland, to come to
Canada and finally settle in
West Vancouver.

Sometimes, inadvertently,
little Scottish phrases still
slip out to the enjoyment of
those around her. On being
told that the Bookmobile
service would continue
through the summer, she
nodded her head in relief
and said, “What would we
dae withoot it”.
