Christmas celebrated
at recreation centre

IN KEEPING with the holiday
spirit, Ron Andrews Recreation
Centre has announced some special
Christmas events.

Christmas Creativity, a
workshop in which adults can
make floral centrepieces and
Christmas wreaths, will take place
on Saturday, Dec. 10 from 10 a.m.
to I p.m.

The big event for the whole fam-
ily is the Family Christmas Party
on Saturday, Dec. 17 from 10:30
a.m. to 1 p.m.

The party includes breakfast
with Santa featuring pancakes,
muffins, juice, coffee and hot

chocolate. After breakfast, visit
Santa in his workshop, trim the
tree, and make your own stock-
ings, wreaths, decorations,
Christmas cards and wrapping
paper. The party also includes
some special door prizes.

After the party the whole family
can take part in one or more of the
public swim sessions beginning at 1
p.m. Tickets for the party are $2
for adults and $1 for children.
Public swim admissions are the
regular fee.

Andrews Recreation Centre. For
