Airy cabin makes for refreshing Breeze

THE Plymouth Breeze
is one of three look-a-
like Chrysler sedans —
the other two are the
Dodge Stratus and
Chrysler Cirrus — that
emerged in 1994/1995
to replace the Dodge
Spirit and Plymouth
Acclaim.

In terms of size, the
Breeze fits somewhere
between the smaller Neon
sedan and larger Chrysler
Intrepid sedans.

When compared with
other cars in its class (Ford
Contour, Chevrolet Malibu,
Pontiac Grand Am,
Oldsmobile Alero), the
Breeze stacks up quite well,
even three years after it was
introduced. In particular, the
Breeze has an extremely
roomy interior, huge trunk,
and exceiient handling.

The Breeze is the economy
version of the Chrysler
triplets. It’s wailable with two

major reasons for this: the
Breeze’s straight-line accelera-
tion is relatively quick for a
four cylinder sedan because it
has a low curb weight of 1330
