Greg GOAL LINES Poile, the original general man- ager of the NHL Vancouver Canucks, has maintained living quarters at Woodcroft since he arrived on the West Coast back in 1970.. It was Poile, in fact, who paid Borovich $5,000 for the Canucks’ new logo prior to the 1970-71 NHL season. Remember when the colors were blue, green and white and the logo was a stylized ‘‘C’’ in the shape of a hockey rink?
