Inside, the SSE creates the finest

keeping with its mission, the deep-
ly hooded, SSE-specific instrument
panel features large, legible, full
analog instrumentation, including

clude redundant radio and heat/
vent/AC (HVAC) controls in the
steering wheel hub. The new centre
console between the 45/45 bucket
seats contains a storage bin, two
accessory power plugs for
operating multiple appliances, and
power seat control switches.

ICBC offers

ICBC HAS announced a new ver-
sion of its Underinsured Motorist
Protection (UMP) for. non-
motorists who want to protect
themselves in case they are injured
by an uninsured or underinsured
motorist.

Previously, only those with a
valid B.C. driver's licence or who
owned 2 iicensed vehicle could
purchase UMP coverage for
themselves, their spouses and
dependents in their households.

The standard Y99 suspension on
the Bonneville SE is the most ag-
gressive in the Borneville lineup.
Spring rates are higher, the front
stabilizer bar is 32mm in diameter,
and it rides on Goodyear P215/
65R15 GT+4 tires on 15” x 6°”
tri-port cast aluminum wheels.

New 15-inch diamond spoke
aluminum wheels are optional, as
are ABS brakes.

A leather-wrapped steering
wheel is standard. Steering wheel
hub-mounted radio and heat/
yvent/air conditioning (HVAC)
controls are optional. The stand-
ard 45/55 stits include storage ca-
pability in the armrest; improved
45/45 contoured bucket seats and
console are optional.

Full analog instrumentation in-
cludes a tachometer and a 115 mph

Final drive ratio in the LE has
been changed from 1988’s 2.73:1
to 2.84:1, for improved part throt-
tle response and grade load
driveability.

The LE, available with the op-
tional SE suspension, rolls on
P205/75R14 tires on .14°° x 6”
wheels. Fifteen-inch diamond
spoke wheels are optional. ABS
brakes are also available.

Inside, a urethane Grand Prix-
style steering wheel is standard.
SE’s instrumentation package is
available.
