DRIVER urgently needed to drive a person from Vancouver General Hospital to the Lynn Valley area, after receiving treat- ment, on Monday, Wednesday and/or Friday afternoons about 4:30 p.m. ENTHUSIASTIC SOCIABLE ASSISTANT to help special needs residents (mainly Alzheimer clients) with mvusic, crafts and ex- ercises. Hours are any day Tuesday to Saturday 11:30 am. to 12:30 p.m. Volunteers should be over.25 years of age. OUTGOING DRIVERS available on a regular basis are needed to drive seniors to and from doctors’ appointments and hospitals. Volunteer is expected to attend team meetings three times PRENATAL TEACHERS wanted to teach prenatal classes with another teacher. Volunteer should have recent birth experience (within the ijast five years) and have an interest in childbirth education. Hours are Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings 7:30-9:30 or Saturdays 9 a.m. to 3 WORKER/NURSE to visit pro- spective meals-on-wheels clients to gather essential information and familiarize them with the service in a relaxed, leisurely manner. CARING ENERGETIC PEO- PLE wanted to assist with a food service program. Duties include helping with baking, sandwich making and dealing with cash. Volunteers should have an understanding of people with emo- tial problems. Hours are week- days 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and flexible.
