The Council for The Corporation of the District of
North Vancouver intends to undertake the work set
forth below as a local improvement and io specially
charge the owners’ portion of the costs against the
parcels benefiting from the work.

Unless within one month after publication of this
notice a majority of the owners, representing at least
one-half of the value of the parcels which are liable
to be specially charged, petition the Council not to
proceed with it, the work may be undertaken as a
local improvement.

The work is street reconstruction, which consists of
road base reconstruction, underground drainage and
curbing and paving. Extra works, at District expense
will include waterworks and sidewalk construction.
The streets within which the work is to be effected
are:

STRATHCONA ROAD from Harris Avenue to

Roxbury Road

ROXBURY ROAD between Strathcona Road

and the existing paved and curbed section of

Roxbury Road.

The estimated total cost is $1,630,000

(The Corporation's share: $1,239,005, Owners’ share:
$120,995.)

The estimated annual charge inclusive of interest is
$15.95 per taxable unit of frontage for residential
