Born in Puerto Rico, Ferreras
has been a resident of Canada
since 1972. He studied classical
music at the University of Windsor
and Wayne Srate University in
Detroit, Mich.. and divides his
ume between various groups.

The Karen Jamieson Dance Co.,
the Vancouver Symphony and
Simon Fraser University’s Magnet-
ic Band are three of the companies
with which he works.

Paul Plimley has studied at the
