As Chairman of the Board of
Lions Gate Hospital, I would like
to express my sincerest apprecia-
tion to the editorial staff of the
North Shore News and in par-
ticular, to Barrett Fisher and Tim
Renshaw, for the fair, objective
and unemotional reporting of the
events leading up to the election of
the board on Wednesday, June 25.

The board has never minimized
the importance of media coverage
of all of the hospital's activities,
but on the subject of the elections
which is a very sensitive communi-
ty issue, we are particularly ap-
preciative of a job well done.
