Linen is in the fashion spotlight again this spring. But heed these words of advice if you want to keep your linen fashions crisp and cool. Linen is washable, but it can shrink if it has not been preshrunk by the manufacturer. As with all textile apparel, check the label before laundering. To wash linens in a washing machine, use warm water and a short, gentle cycle. Dry garments on a clothing rack or hanger. If the linen is heavy, you can put the garment in the dryer for about 10 minutes to remove excess moisture. AROUSEL CLE If you take your linen ta the drycleaner it can be cleaned and pressed for a professional look which is difficult, if not impossible, to achieve with home Jaundering. Drycleaning also prevents dis- proportionate shrinkage of linen garments. Be sure to have all the pieces of your linen outfits drycleaned at the same time to avoid color differences. Don't try to remove stains yoursell. Blot up any spill and have the garment drycleaned as soon as possible to avoid a permanent stain. wy, ANERS Mon-Wed 6:30 to 6:30pm / Thurs-Fri 6:30 to 9:00pm / Sat 6:30 to 5:30pm / Sun 12:00 to 5:00pm Outside locztion between Canada Trust & Woodward's Park Royal North 922-4811 "0s styling makes a comeback AFTER FOUR veuars of overstated fashions, shoppers are rejecting them in favor of pared-down styles and longer hemlines.
