On July 19, Brad Carlsen, 15,
of Langley, and Warren
Bauman, 27 of New
Westminster, died just minutes
apart in separate incidents in the
creek.

Meanwhile, RCMP divers re-
covered Lewis’ body at 6:30 a.m.
on Wednesday. The corpse was
trapped by hydraulic water
pressure 22 feet below the surface
of the pool.

An RCMP diver, who has over
a period of 13 years pulled
numerous bodies from the cold
creek water, made an impassioned
plea Wednesday to Lynn Creek
thrill-seekers.

Said Sgt. Paul Giffin: ‘‘We all
know that telling people not to go
in there doesn’t work. The bottom
line is please don’t go into the
waters of Lynn Canyon.
