other after-market dazzlers do just

that —- dazzle.

week, lightlessness now
enshrouds our evening
rush hour. They pay
me good money to
point out things like
that.

Be a beacon of hope
amidst all chat gloomy dark-
ness. Use vour headlights. Be
safe.

You'll notice from time to
time the occasional driver
who isa lite too zealous
about lighting up the cheer-
less blackness of night.

You know, those dolts
who drive around with their
high-beams on trving vainly
to outshine the street dights
but merely causing temporary
blindness instead.

Or those bonecheads who
slp on their fog lights even
though the nearest fog bank
is just outside of San
Francisco.

They sure look cool with
those extra pair of gleamers
staring down the on-coming
drivers and practically daring
Mother Nature to bring on
the pea soup, but they are
out of fine.

as it turns out, the
mighty Moror Vehicle Act
has nothing to say on the
matter of fog lights. We must
refer te B.C.’s MVA
Regulations and that tome
does not actually forbid the
use of both fog flights and
headlights at the same time,
which ts why overly illuminat-
ed bonehvads continue to be
