Terry Grimwood, an alderman in North Vancouver City from 1973 to 1976, said about 20 families were involved in a freworks display that included shoot- ing off Roman candles. Police say the incident occurred on private property near the Queensbury Avenue. “In our situation one policeman took it upon him- self ro enforee the letter of the law,” said Grimwood.
