ed one of 20 interna-
tional awards from the
Learning Resources
Network (LERN).

The 1997 award winners
were announced earlier this

“By winning this award
I'm very pleased that a variety
of people have been recog-
nized tor their contribution to
this program,” said Morris. “It
marks the beginning of further
expansion and development to
better serve the film industry's
training needs,”

Selected from a field of
more than 100) nominations,
the prograat was one of only
four to receive recognition in
the area of exemplary program
development.

The award was given to the
Film and Television Studies
program because it provides
services to a growing market
segment in the provinee.
