Purple Mercedes vanishes A West Vancouver woman : checking out damage after a . ear-ender on Tuesday had her 1991 purple Mercedes stolen. . |. The woman was rear-ended.“at a low speed” at 4 p.m. while she was at a stop sign at the top of 21st Street near Skilift According to West Vancouver Police, both drivers got out of their cars. There was no damage to the vehicles, but the other driver, a man, told the woman to look for damage to the Mercedes’ bumper. As the woman was doing this, police say the man jumped in the Mercedes and took off. Oldsmobile Cutlass convertible. The car had been stolen abeut one hour earlier in Vancouver, said police. Inside the stolen purple Mercedes was the woman’s purse. The two-door Mercedes’ licence plate is HKH 475. The suspect in the theft has greyish hair, 2 moustache, black glasses and is about 1.8 m tall ( 5°11” to 6°). He was wearing a black ball cap.
