with a photograph of himself wearing
a Tilley hat, With the support of John
Tilley, the photo was used to raise
money fos.a community centre in
South Africa. Tilley told Street about
how the Tilley hat. was bom. Alex
Tilley began with an art-leasing com-
pany in Toronto. “Iie made'so much,
that he bought a-40-foot boat, but
. every time he went cut he lost his hat.

‘So he invented the Tilley hat,” Street
said. Inspired by the heudy success,
Street spent last-year Tesearching his
own att leasing-sales project.

He. started, marketing ‘as Street
Heart in March. Clients may buy art
outright or lease for.a percentage of
the. value. “He ‘takes a portfolio to

spectrum. I’m enjoying it.”
