He served in World War | and World War il with the Royal Cana- dian Corp of Signals. Ke was a member of the Boy Scouts of Canada for many ears and was still active at the time of chis death. He was Regional Commis- sioner for the Vancouver Coast Region for nine years and was awarded the Silver Acorn January 22, 1968. He serv- ed as Rectors Warden at Christ Church Cathedral. He was Secretary Treasurer of the West Vancouver School Board for 15 years, during that time he was the Chairman of the Committee that built the original West Vancouver Memorial Library, Gearge was one of the many Sea Wall walkers, he enjoyed family gather. ings, loved a good joka and would not tolerate 3 weak scotch.
