that my new husband, Tom,
would get their inheritance.’’
Elizabeth and Tom solved that
problem by drawing up a 10-page
marriage agreement which stipu-
lated that Elizabeth's assets
would go to her children. Tom
says this helped to get their mar-
riage off to a good start. ‘! jok-
ingly told Elizabeth’s kids ‘I’m
not after you mother’s money,
I’m after her bady.”’

Tom's comment raises another
question about love in later years.

While it is true that the frequency
of sexual activity inay decline with
advancing years, it is also true
that psychologists attribute this
more to attitude than to any phys-
ical inevitability associated with
aging.

Like many seniors who remarry,
Tom Ross says that in some ways
his love life improves with age.

couple is healthy, has a supportive
family and is comfortable finan-
cially. ‘*It's a nice time because
you don't have a lot of stresses

and strains that you experience
when working full time and rais-
ing children.””

Elizabeth Ross says that at her
stage in life she does not have
time to take her relationship for
granted. ‘‘We have enjoyed
every day and we think of each
day as if it were the last we are
going to have and trv to make the
most of it. We thank God for our
happiness.”
