Attempted murder) suspect sought A CANADA-wide warrant has been issued for the arrest of Denis Gilles Houle following a shooting incident in an Ontario bar. Gn Nov. 9, 1988, Houle and two compsnions went to a bar in Gloucester, Ontario where a fight ensued between the accused and two bouncers. Houle is alleged to have pulled out a semi-automatic 22-calibre handgun and fired four shots at a mar. One of the shots strack the vic- tim in the right side, puncturing the liver. A second shot struck another person who was in the bar. Houle and one of the injured persons were driven to hospits!. While Hante waited in the hospi- tal parking lot, the victim who had been shot in the liver was transported to the same hospital by one of the patrons. Houle recognized the victim and approached the car while the driver went into the hospital to get a wheelchair for the injured man. Houle opened the passenger door and allegedly shot the vic- tim in the abdominal area. He then fled the scene. Houle now faces charges of at- tempted murder and assault with a weapon. He is described as being 5'7" tall, weighing 151 pounds and having green eyes and brown hair. He is also known as Michel Martin. Trial scheduled for cooler caper A FATHER and son charged with obstructing a police officer in connection with a March 9 dispute over repairs to a cooler at Pizza 222 on Marine Drive in West Vancouver have been scheduled to appear for trial Sept. 6 in West Vancouver provincial court. Hugo Hector Rousseau, 46, and Charlo Hector Rousseau, 22, are charged jointly with obstructing a police officer, and Charlo Rousseau is charged witii two additional accounts of resisting a police officer and committing mischief by allegedly kicking in the door of the pizza parlor. West Vancouver has also charged Charlo Rousseau with operating a business in the municipality without a business licence. The charges were laid after the two were alleged to have attemp- ted to repossess portions of the pizza parios’s refrigeration unit foilowing a dispute over payment for repairs alleged to have been performed by C.R. Woman jailed for theft A 36-YEAR-OLD Vancouver woman was sentenced May 19 in West Vancouver provincial court to a 30-day jail term after she pleaded guilty to theft under $1,000. Marie Helene Masse was originally charged in connection with a Dec. 19, 1989 incident at Herzog Crystal in Park Royal. Appearing before Judge J.K.
