THE PARK Roya! Woodward’s threw open its doors recently for the
department store’s annual Operation Wheelchair event. Here, Kelly
Shollert wheels around her grandmother-in-law Emma Shollert. Dur-
ing Operation Wheelchair, Woodward’s opened its store after hours to
allow seniors and the handicapped to do their Christmas shopping
without the usual holiday crowds. Woodward's staff and other pro-
gram participants volunteered their time to assist with the event.

The workout is free if partici-
pants get pledges from neighbors
and friends in support of the Heart
