Co-sponsored PACIFIC QUEST PGES 2c CHOM 1320 v CHARTERS OMFM 103.5 TENTH ANNUAL NORTH SHORE NEWS SAILING RACE The 1987 running of the Tenth Annual North Shore News Sailing Race, co-sponsored by Pacific Quest Charters and CHOM, is set for Sunday June 21st. Racers from previous years will be familiar with the course from the start at Dundarave Pier, to a marker at Point Atkinson, to the Point Grey Bell Buoy, to a marker set 0.7 miles south of the center channel marker, to the finish line off Kit- silano Yacht Club, a distance of approximately 12 miles. The start will be conaucted at 10:00 am., and the of- ficial finish time is 3:00 p.rn. Ceremonies and awards presen- tations will begin as soon as possible after 3:00 pm. at the Pelican Bay Dining Room located in the Granville {sland Hotel. __ This tenth annual family sailing event is open to ail cruising sailboats regardless of club membership or affiliation. Entry Forms Are available at the North Shore News, Pacific Quest Charters on Granville island and CHQM. Entry fee of $25 is payable to the North Shore News. Spinnakers and bloopers are not permitted.
