1c. sugar
6 lemons halved
6 c. boiling, water.

liquid waste. This wastewater and stormwater runoff eventually
discharges into the Fraser River and its estuary, Burrard Inlet or
the Strait of Georgia, which are important ecological, social
and economic assets.

How can we accommodate population growth
while protecting our rivers, lakes and oceans?
How much are we willing to pay?

The GVRD and its member municipalities invite your comments
on the document, “Caring for our Waterways,” which will be
used to help prepare a liquid waste management plan for the
region. The document is available at major libraries; please call
437-GVRD to find out the library nearest you.
