James Anthony Ice and Bruce Robert Pongray, both 20, and Philip John Won- nacou, 18, were charged as the result of police investiga tion of the break-in whic occurred carty Monday Police were alerted to the crime by security guards at the Bay store at Coquitlam Centre at 3:45 a.m. Monday Port Moody municipal police, aided by a tracking dog, picked up the trails of three men who had ben in terrupted by = the guards After a brief search, two of the men were found hiding tn the stock room of the store Police continued scarching and found a third man on the roof of the shopping cen socurity tre The jewelry was recovered at the same time The break-in attempt was the second this summer in volving theft of a large amount of jewelry. in July, cUhleves hit the Katons outlet at Park Royal South and escaped with tens of thousands of dollars worth of jewelr Some of that loot was re covered and two Vancouver men were arresied later as the result of undercover pohce investigation of | the theft
