land in Lower Lonsdale that
can be developed to provide a
heart in this City,’’ she sub-
mitted at the March 19 coun-
cil meeting.

Dean gave notice that she
would make a motion March
26 proposing that City staff
prepare an evaluation of the
marketing of the land which
is located on West First
Street.

She feels that the block

nabbed on SeaBus

be a good way to get away
from it all but not if you've
just robbed a bank.

A Vancouver man found
that out when he stepped off
the SeaBus and into the
waiting arms of the North
Vancouver RCMP Friday
morning.

He was being sought in
connection with the robbery
of the Canadian Imperial
Bank of Commerce at 640
West Hastings in Vancouver.

A man entered the bank,
showed a teller a note deman-
ding cash, and then fled on
foot. The suspect was last
seen in the area of the Van-
couver SeaBus_ terminal,
leading to the call for
assistance to the North Van
police.
