Consultants Limited to build
a 53O0-bed complex on 1-4
acres at the corner of East
19th and Mountain High-
way.

They also authorized the
preparation of a by-law to
use the land.

Fire ripped through a
house basement at 2039
Kirkstone, North Vancouver
and caused between $2,000
and $3,000 damage, a North
Vancouver fire department
official said Monday.

William Kraigsley was
applying cement sealer to
the basement when a pilot
light from the hot water tank
ignited the fumes, said the
official.
