Measures to enforce us to pay
another tax thar we doen't
want — can’t they get the

They understand the paperwork and the

evidence to be collected

They have the knowiedge and
experience to assess the value of the claim

: They have the ability
to collect a fair settlement

Message we're overtaxed
now?

Hf they want to get money
for transit they might want to
look at their current’ cus-
tomers and apply some safe-
guards for all the people who

use transit and don’t pay.

[ constantly hear stories of

those who get away without
paying. One person T know,
who works in a professional
occupation, hasn't paid for
transit for over two years and
they take the SkyTrain to
work each day.

Why, we ask? Most people

don’t, so why should P

There is no means to vali-
date a ticket at the station, and
she’s never been checked
while on the train in the
morning.

The tew times she has been
checked after work she gives a
wrong name and address as
others do.

I wonder how many tickets
TransLink actually collects on?
And it’s not just the trains Pve
heard this of, it’s also the
SceaBus.

Why should 1 be forced to
subsidize — take that back —
pay for a government business
they can’t even manage?

Typical government) —
can’t run a business properly
but that's OK, we'll just
charge more tax.

viewpoint coliimn. Hopefully, it will be the last time. f

believe T have ever read such a horribly picced together arti-
cle, even in a community paper, What exactly was the point
thar Mr. Potter was trying to make? His story jumps trom
describing his new apartment, to his neighbour's hair and

clothing attire, to the blonde “broad,”

and on and on.
