Kasheli, the librarian in charge
of the collection. “Ev erybody
loves him.”

The accident happened at

Park Roval shopping centre at

The pedestrian was hit by
a 44-year-old West Vancouver
woman driving a 1984
Datsun at approximately 50

The pedestrian was taken
to Lious Gate Hospital,
where she is in stable condi-
tion with back and head
injuries. She is facing Motor
Vehicle Act charges of dis-
obeving a wait light, which
carries an $86 fine.

Robbers hit North Van store Saturday

YET another North Vancouver conve-
nience store has been held up by
armed robbers.

The Mac’s Convenience Store at 1501 St.
Georges Ave. was held up on Saturday by two
armed men wearing ski masks. One of the rob-
bers brandished a long kitchen knife and a third
accomplice was waiting outside the store.

The robbers took cash, cigarettes and lottery
tickets during the heist shortly before midnight.
Police have a video taken in the store.

The store is a block away from the North
Vancouver RCMP*s main office.

This is the third convenience store robbery

On Oct. 10 two men, wearing masks, bran-
dished pepper spray and a knife during a heist at
G.H. Grocery in the 500-block of Chesterfield
Avenue, The store owner grabbed a knife trom
behind the cash register and chased the robbers.
One of robbers sprayed pepper spray as he ran.

On Oct. 9, wo men armed with a gun and
pepper spray held up Winston Market conve-
Nience store in the 400-block of East Keith
Road.

Police continue to investigate all three rob-
beries. Anyone with information is asked to call
the North Vancouver RCMP at 985-1311.
