However, | was disap- pointed that there was no mention of the preventive steps that men can take to pre- vent this disease from devel- oping in the first place. It is generally well agreed upon that almost every cancer (including prostate . cancer) has a diet association and cer- tain foods can help to decrease Or. increase a person's risk of MAIL BOX developing the disease. Tomatoes, for instance, contain a phytochemical, Lycopene that has been shown to decrease the risk of prostate cancer so much so that populations that consume a lot of tomato-based prod- ucts have a much Jower inci- dence of the disease.
