A NORTH Yancouver teenager pleaded guilty Wednesday with the kidnapping.

Act, was charged with possession
of stolen property in connection

The other seven co-accused —
including three male youths and
four adults — are scheduled to
appear in North Vancouver pro-
vincial court again on Monday to
fix a trial date.

On Dec. 21, Cynthia Kilburn,
30, was abducted from her North
Vancouver home after her four-

year-old twins were bound and
left in the house unattended.

Kilburn was later released after
a large ransom was paid. The ran-
som money was later recovered by
the police.

Seven of the eight co-accused
were subsequently arrested follow-
ing a spending spree at several
shopping locations, including Park

Royal.

In January, charges were laid
aguinst the eighth person.

The seven co-accused are
scheduled to appear in court on
Monday to face charges ranging
from kidnapping and unlawful
confinement to extortion and
possession of stolen property.
