BCIT CEREMONIES NV students garner honors DURING RECENT graduation ceremonies at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCiT), six North Vancouver residents received high achievement and ac- ademic awards. Afsaneh Sadeghnobari was presented with the BCIT alumni award. Sadeghnobari, a graduating student in biological sciences tech- nology, also received the Fisheries Council of B.C. award in food processing. She now hopes to ob- tain some work experience and open her own business. Sadeghnobari, 32, has lived in North Vancouver for the past three years, after moving from Tehran, fran, where she took most of her schooling.
