In traditional lessons, ensemble work is limited to duet or trio groupings as demonstrated by the younger students. Due to the unique lesson format of Robert Pace Group Piano we can form much larger ensembles in order to. give students “orchestral” experience. While most pianists study and rehearse in “solitary con- finement,” = Pace — classes address the important, bur often ignored aspect of music -— that it is a social art.
