A day after a Vancouver stabbing Suspect was observed cycling a bike in front of the North Vancouver RCMP detachment, a robbery sus- pect was arrested on April 6 cycling away after an alleged botched phar- macy heist. The alleged robber, James Gordon Danvers, 42, of no fixed address, was observed by Vancouver City Police (VCP) officers allegedly attempting to rob Anderson’s Pharmacy, 273 Lonsdale Ave. VCP officers, with the help of the North Vancouver RCMP, arrested Danvers near Chesterfield Avenue and 3rd Street. An unarmed man entered the store and produced a note saying, “This is a robbery,” according to police, The night before, a bicycle-riding suspect produced a similar note at a comer store on Chesterfield Avenue and West 2nd Street in North Vancouver City. Shawn Mason spotted arson and stabbing suspect Fraser Aegg riding his bike on 13th Street near the police detiach- ment, Begg was arrested and charged with four counts of attempted murder | and five counts of urson which endangered life. Begg’s alleged target was his for- mer Vancouver psychiatrist, Michael Roburn. The North Vancouver drifter is in jail in Vancouver awaiting comple- tion of a psychiatric assessment.
