scheduled road closures and
detours for the coming week in
North Vancouver District and Ci-
ty, West Vancouver District ard
along area highways.

North Vancouver District
Dollarton Highway Recenstruc-
tion:

Road construction in progress.
Single-lane traffic during sun-peak
travel times with occasional
detours occurring from time to
time.

Mount Seymour Parkway
Beautification Project:

Installation of curb and gutter
along north and south sides be-
tween Tollcross and Apex Roads.
Single-lane traffic in both direc-
tions. Construction speed limit in
effect at all times.
Redwood-iaewood-McBride
Crescent:

Road construction in progress.
Open to local traffic only.

Gallant Avznue:

Installation of underground elec-
trical services. Single-lane traffic
only.

Mariae Drive Watermain Project:
Sawceutting of pavement prior to
installation of watermain will
commence on May 16. Work will
be performed at night commencing
at 8 p.m. Single lane traffic oniy

North Vanconver City:
No major closures planned.

West Vancouver District
Ambleside Revitalization Project:
Work continues in the Ambleside
business district on the area’s
tevitalization project. Road
closures will occur throughout the
area, particularly in the area one
block north and south of Marine
Drive between 13th and 18th
streets. The district is asking for
the public’s cooperation while the
project is taking place, and
motorists are asked to obey both
traffic control devices and person-
nel.

Mathers Avenue:

Mathers Avenue, between the
2000 and 2100 blocks, will be clos-
ed for approximately six weeks due
to watermain replacement work.

Department of Highways

Upper Levels Highway at Lonsdale
Avenue:

Eastbound traffic at the Upper
Levels Highway and Lonsdale
Avenue overpass project will con-
tinue to detour onto new east-
bound lanes. Access to Chester-
field and St. Georges avenues is
temporarily closed.

Second Narrows Bridge-Skeena
Tunnel:

The Skeena Tunnel at the south
end of the Second Narrows Bridge
will be closed to July 1.
