Viewpoint regarding 23rd Street
traffic exaggerated and unrealistic.

I regularly use 23rd as a route
from Lonsdale to Grand Boule-
vard and have never encountered
any traffic problems. We lived on
the Grand Boulevard extension
(which joins 19th to 23rd) in the
early 60s and it was a through
street then. I have little sympathy
for residents along this route com-
